BESPOKE ENGAGEMENT RINGS

A COLLABORATIVE LABOUR OF LOVE.

THE EXPERIENCE

The Initial Consultation

Duration: 1 Hour to 1 1/2 Hours

While we recommend this to be an in-person meeting, a virtual consultation is absolutely possible.

An exploratory meeting, where clients are invited to try on a range of ring designs and diamond shapes in a private setting with our gemmologist. You will be provided with a 1-on-1 deep dive on the characteristics of diamonds, their origin, and their grading. Next, a discussion on the choices of precious metals you can opt for, and the pros and cons of each one. Finally, a discussion on the ring design, production, and unique elements that we can add to make it exclusively yours.

If you're visiting us with your partner, and would prefer that prices not be discussed, please do let us know!

The Follow-Up Call

Duration: 10 to 15 minutes

Following the Initial Consultation, we will send a design brief along with an initial list of diamond options that align with your budget and preferences. Should you wish to proceed, we'll set up a call to review any further questions you may have, confirm a delivery date, and discuss ring box options. At the end of the call, we'll send across a pro-forma invoice and a 50% deposit request to begin production.

Receiving the CAD & Render

Usually received within 5 to 7 working days after the receipt of deposit.

Upon receipt of the deposit, our CAD technician will begin working on the computer aided design (CAD) and rendering to create a detailed visual for you to approve. As an example of the visual you will receive, here are two renders we've recently sent to our clients to ensure the design aligned with their vision.

Casting & Production

Usually a two-to-three week process.

Once the CAD design has been approved, production begins with the casting process. Depending on the complexity of the design and your chosen precious metal, multiple individual components may be cast separately. Each component is carefully inspected to ensure it meets our exacting standards before being sandblasted and passed to our master goldsmith for assembly, refinement, and preliminary polishing.

As the centre diamond arrives, our gemmologist begins sourcing and calibrating any smaller accent diamonds required for the design. Particular attention is given to ensuring these diamonds complement the centre stone in colour, clarity, and overall appearance, creating a beautifully balanced and harmonious result.

The completed mount and selected diamonds are then entrusted to our specialist diamond setter. Once setting is complete, the piece returns to our master goldsmith for a final inspection under magnification, where every detail is meticulously reviewed before the ring receives its final polish and preparation for collection.

From CAD approval to completion, your ring will pass through the hands of a master goldsmith, gemmologist, and specialist diamond setter, each contributing their expertise to the creation of a piece designed to last a lifetime.
